Lifes been really busy this past year but I'll give you the best update I can. Its Feb. 18 2010 as I write this. Its been a busy winter. I have been coyote hunting with my wife and a couple of friends so it lead me to start our own calling team. Decote The Yote Calling Team. Other than that I don't really have much to update on. So check back again sometime.

Here is a picture of our sticker.

Hello all, my wife decided since I have so many projects going that I should show them all to you. If you know me you know I have project ADD I alway's have more than one project going.

First up is my 1950 Chevrolet 3100 me and my wife then girlfriend and mom went looking for a project for me and came across this. Me and my dad bought it as a father son project. Well when i graduated my dad gave it to me as a graduation gift. It has to be the best graduation gift ever. Some plans for the fifty is to soup up a 261 straight six with a high compression 235 head Milled .035 with the intake valve recessed. That should bring the over all compression ratio to about a 10:1.  Its going to have a dual carb intake set up with two rochester B's remember going old school here yeah a Holley-Weber is more reliable but less fun. I'm also gonna go with a split exhaust manifold and run 2 inch pipe down to some smithy's mufflers. I plan on replacing the dizzy with a mini HEI kit with will allow me to run sparkplugs with a .060 gap for improved idle and low speed performance. We kind of want to do a dark purple with metallic flakes in the paint. Also we would like to do a custom leather interior black with purple piping and thread.

Right now it has a 235 l6 with a higher compression head single carb and a single smithy's glasspack, Its not quite a fast ride but she's got quite a bit of torque. The 261 I want to build should push around 175 HP compared to the 95 it has now. I found a Sun Product's tachometer in the junk yard its in almost perfect condition I hope to install it this summer it should add some vintage flavor to the old girl.

This picture is of me sitting in the backyard at my parents getting the pickup ready for a cruise  in Lidgerwood. I had 7 days to get the bugs worked out of the engine and brakes totally rebuilt. I worked my butt off but the day of the cruise I finished it up.

Here is an interior shot of the 50'

The fishing trip me and my wife went on with the puppies.

Here is a picture of my fifty chev sitting outside our home. (and no its not that crappy white and blue trailer we just have to live next to it.)

Finally I got my Tachometer hooked up this last week here is a picture of the Sending box for it. I place the box where the Voltage regulator was placed but since I converted to 12V alternator i no longer need it.

Next up is another little project, it's sitting out on the farm right now. Its a 1956 John Deere 60. The Two cylinder is locked up but I plan to see if I can't bust them loose curiousity killed the cat, But satisfaction brought him back.

A few of my other hobbies include my Career which is EMS, right now I work for Lidgerwood Ambulance as a EMT-B.

Here is a Picture of Lidgerwood's Ambulance

I also drive truck part-time for a farmer.

And of course there is my biggest hobbie well i would guess its more than a hobby its a life style which is my horses.

And lastly for now.

This page will ALWAYS and i MEAN ALWAYS be changing so check back often.
